About Sue Chan
Describe your journey to real estate.
“Do you mean to tell me, Katie Scarlett O’Hara, that Tara, that land, doesn’t mean anything to you? Why, land is the only thing in the world worth workin’ for, worth fightin’ for, worth dyin’ for, because it’s the only thing that lasts.” - Gone with the Wind
This movie quote has stuck with me since childhood and where my appreciation for real estate originates. It's also been a family business so I have gained plenty of exposure and knowledge from my parents.
What most excites you about your work?
There's reward in working with clients and fulfilling everyone's unique motivations. Plus, there's always something new to learn so this business never gets boring.
Where can we find you when you're not working?
Chasing after two kids. Real estate is actually my second job.
What would be impossible for you to give up?
My family. It's my stronghold and what I work hard for.
What is the nicest thing anyone ever said to you?
Mommy, I love you. Coming from a three year old, you have to appreciate the sincerity of such a comment.
What is your dream vacation?
Not so much a dream vacation but a trip I have to take one day, more like a bucket-list vacation. Going to the Kentucky Derby and watching the horses race with mint julep in hand and fancy hat on head.
