About Mayra Espinosa

DESCRIBE YOUR JOURNEY TO REAL ESTATE.

I started my Real Estate career in 2004. I was curious about the buying and selling process after I purchased my first house 20 years ago. A couple years later, I meet a local real estate broker who asked me, "Why don't you get your real estate license? There is a need for Spanish/English (bilingual) real estate agents in the Bay Area.” I thought, why not?

What I learned after buying a house is that the most important aspect is to have open communication and mutual trust with prospective buyers and sellers and to educate them about the process and procedures so when they are ready to move forward, they can make a well-informed decision. My goal and foremost priority is to negotiate and work on behalf of my client's best interest. During the 2007-2013 recession, I worked on helping many homeowners avoid foreclosure.

WHAT ARE THREE WORDS YOUR CLIENTS WOULD USE TO DESCRIBE YOU?

Seasoned, Brilliant and Meticulous

WHAT MOST EXCITES YOU ABOUT YOUR WORK?

For Sellers: It is assisting sellers preparing and getting their home ready to be placed on the market, marketing, negotiating, and managing their escrows.

For Buyers: It is finding the perfect home that suits the budget and lifestyle of my clients and their families. Also held the hand through the process from getting ready to get pre-approved, house hunting, reviewing homes together, preparing offer, negotiate price, terms and condition, inspection and managing escrow and closing.

What do you look for in a neighborhood?

Safety first, Good schools, friendly neighbors and easy access to essential lifestyle amenities.

What Bay Area city would you like to live in and why?

Burlingame because it has the perfect weather and geographically it is located kind of in the middle of Silicon Valley and San Francisco.

What was the happiest moment in your life?

The day I got the keys to the first house I bought.

What is one of your dream vacations?

My dream vacation is somewhere on the tropic since I am from D. R. to just lay on the beach watching the waves or Barcelona Spain — I see myself taking Flamenco lessons there.

What magical power would you want to have?

The ability to help children and animals with essential needs or disability. They are the future.
