About Lian Wu
Tell us about your journey to real estate:
I moved from Shenzhen, China, to the San Francisco Bay Area in 2003. Back in Shenzhen, I worked as a legal adviser for the Industrial Bank of China, which taught me patience and attention to detail. When I moved to California, I earned my MBA and worked as a tax accountant for one of the largest public accounting firm. When the real estate market started improving, my friends and family had many questions regarding properties and it sparked my interest in the profession. It afforded me the opportunity to draw on all of my prior knowledge to better serve my clients. I'm proud to be a member of Sequoia because my work ethics align with their value of integrity, professionalism, and always putting clients first.
WHAT ARE THREE WORDS YOUR CLIENTS WOULD USE TO DESCRIBE YOU?
Commitment, care, and follow-through form the basis of the way I approach every real transaction and relationship with my clients. I bring to real estate a diverse background.
Anything else you'd like to tell people about yourself?
When I'm not working, I'm looking after my family, walking my dog, Babe, meeting up with my friends, or We-Chatting with my relatives and friends in China. WeChat would be impossible for me to give up! I would like my potential clients to know that I am a curious person and I will always figure out a way to answer their questions.
If you could be any animal, what would it be and why?
I would be my dog, Babe -- she has a royal life!
What was the happiest moment in your life?
I can't pick just one moment; I really like spending time with my family and helping people.
