About Ginny Leung
DESCRIBE YOUR JOURNEY TO REAL ESTATE.
Watching my parents navigate and struggle in their journey in the United States as refugees and seeing how important it was for them to own their own home, stayed with me. I saw how hard my parents worked to accomplish their dream of owning their own home and when I was given the opportunity to become a realtor, I took it.
I spent most of my adult life working in the traditional 9-5 career, which was great at the time. But when I became a mother 4 years ago, I knew I needed more of a work/life balance. Real estate was the answer.
This shift to a career in real estate allowed me time to raise my two boys. This shift also allowed me space to find myself and discover my passion for real estate and my enthusiasm to help others like my parents who have a dream of owning their own home. I am so grateful that my chosen career allows me to help others build their future.
WHAT ARE THREE WORDS YOUR CLIENTS WOULD USE TO DESCRIBE YOU?
Dedicated, Reliable, Trustworthy.
WHAT MOST EXCITES YOU ABOUT YOUR WORK?
The most exciting part for me working in real estate is having the amazing opportunity to help my clients plan for their future and building a lasting relationship with them.
WHERE CAN WE FIND YOU WHEN YOU'RE NOT WORKING?
When I'm not working, you can find me spending quality time with my 2 boys - they are growing up so fast! When I do get a break for some me time, you'll catch me at a spin class or ceramic class, spending time with friends or trying out a new restaurant.
What is your favorite room in the house?
It has always been the kitchen. I have wonderful memories growing up where the entire family spends time in the kitchen cooking, eating, and sharing stories. Now as a mother, I absolutely love making meals for my boys and now they are both in the kitchen with me making our own memories. They love to bake cookies and help me prep our meals. Nothing brings you closer than shared experiences.
What is your favorite day of the week?
Friday or shall we say Friyay! I love Fridays because I put this day aside to spend quality one on one time with my sons. It's the only day of the week where we do whatever fun thing they want and they have all of my attention. I love it.
