About Brian Wong
DESCRIBE YOUR JOURNEY TO REAL ESTATE.
My journey to real estate started at a very young age. Raised in an entrepreneurial family, the values instilled in me were hard work, saving/investing, and family/relationships. By the time I went to high school, I had read "Rich Dad Poor Dad" by Robert Kiyosaki, which taught me the importance of real estate to building a person's wealth. Since then, I have developed a tremendous passion for real estate and have fueled it by being a real estate agent, investor, avid podcast listener, and reader of anything real estate related. I love being able to work hard with my clients to find the best home and/or investment and I am very grateful for the opportunity.
WHAT MOST EXCITES YOU ABOUT YOUR WORK?
Nothing excites me more than seeing real estate create wealth. I recently watched "The Founder," staring Michael Keaton and loved that real estate was a significant contributing factor to McDonald's success. Born and raised in San Francisco, I have enjoyed seeing the city's amazing growth, creating many millionaire real estate owners. Being a San Francisco native, I also have a unique sense of each district (within San Francisco) and each city (within the San Francisco Bay Area), which provides an invaluable resource for those looking to purchase property in San Francisco.
In addition to knowing San Francisco, I spent more than half a decade at one of the largest accounting firms in the world, where I consulted on taxation as a CPA. Whether you would like to know the tax ramifications of selling your primary residence or contemplating a 1031 exchange for your investment properties, I can inform you of your options. My background as a CPA can provide you an advantage when it comes to making the most informed decision.
